The Working Mind (TWM)
TWM (www.theworkingmind.ca): Workplace Mental Health and Wellness is a science and education based program designed to address,
promote mental health and reduce the stigma of mental illness in a workplace setting.
As a result, HCHRSC is please d to offer this training to our industry based on the Mental Health Continuum Model on which The Working Mind program is centered.
We offer The Working Mind program for managers & supervisors (full day workshop). It is an evidence based program designed to:
Reduce the stigma of mental illness
Increase awareness of mental health
Offer resources to maintain positive mental health and increase resiliency

Compassion Fatigue and the Helping Professional
Are you a helping professional? If so, you may know that people in the caring professions often experience compassion fatigue. Compassion fatigue is described as a profound emotional and physical exhaustion that helping professionals and caregivers can develop over the course of their career. During this half-day, interactive workshop, you will learn about the signs and symptoms of compassion fatigue and identify personal self-care strategies to deal with compassion fatigue and increase stress resiliency.
